Venantius (Veny) Dsouza

Veny is a hands-on leader with outstanding interpersonal skills, Organizational agility; Negotiation skills; Presentation skills; Computer proficiency; and a Multi-tasker within fast-paced environments. He is easily adaptable and can learn languages easily. Excellent counselor and man- manager. He is task-oriented; if given a task he will ensure it is finished well before time. He also possesses strong leadership skills and people follow his ideas. A strong believer in team working. He has a very good command of English. He believes to lead by example.

His professional journey

Veny graduated with a Diploma in Air Cargo Operations in 2009 while employed with Bluedart as the Head of Operations, General Manager WEST for Aviation handling Warehouse logistics and Ramp and DGSA. He had his humble beginnings starting his career in 1982 with Cambatta Aviation as a Utility hand. Veny's hard work of nearly four years with Cambatta Aviation helped him find a role at Bluedart as a Duty Manager in late 1985. He served Bluedart for a little over 35 years before retiring as the Head of Security and Chief instructor for dangerous goods & warehousing logistics. He is also been serving as an Inspector for Hazardous goods for the Civil Aviation Ministry of India since 2009. He is among the very few specialists and feels honored to have been elected by the government of India to carry compliance audits on all domestic airlines and Indian carriers.
